The price of Super petrol has increased by Sh1.03 a liter following Energy Regulatory Commission’s review for the month.
The cost of the same amount of diesel has also gone up by Sh3.70, as well as that of kerosene which shot up by Sh5.05 per litre.
The commission attributed new increases to the average landed tonnage costs of super petrol, diesel and kerosene imported fuels in the months of October and September.
The actual pipeline loss factor has been calculated at 0.08 per cent which is a reduction from the previous factor of Sh0.15 per cent. Accordingly, the savings per litre on account of the reduced of pipeline loss as Sh 0.25 for super petrol, Sh 0.13 for diesel while kerosene at Sh 0.10.
